FOUND AUTHENTIC GUATEMALAN TEXTILES

These are found textiles from Guatemala. They are woven and trimmed/seamed with colorful embroidery. These cortes are part of the traditional Guatemalan attire. 

each piece is unique in design, size and wear but the base color is a consistent shade of indigo. Some have stripes, embroidery or both. A few are solid with no stripes or embroidery. Avoid wearing with light colors as the color may transfer. The more these are worn and washed the better they become. The wearing options are endless!
